Deborah Kellaway, Bournemouth & Christchurch Counselling Services, Dip (Couns) MBACP, BSc (Hons) Psychology

We all face some level of difficulty in our lives.  Whilst we may be able to deal with some degree of difficulty, there can be times when our problems overwhelm us to such an extent that we struggle to see a way past them. As a result, our  daily lives, relationships, sense of wellbeing and hopes for the future can be affected and, sometimes, to the extent whereby we struggle to experience any sense of happiness.  This can impact, not only our emotional wellbeing, but also our physical health too, as the two are very much interlinked.  So, whilst emotional health can affect our physical health, this can also work the other way round.

If you are struggling at the moment and are wondering whether the support of a qualifed, trained and experiened counsellor may be of benefit to you, please don't hesitate to make contact.  If you decide that it doesn't feel right for you there is no obligation to continue.  However, you may be pleasantly surprised as to the benefits of counselling.  Counselling has been shown to be beneficial for a variety of problems.  Please click here to see a list of some of the issues that counselling has been shown to be helpful for.

Counselling offers a safe space to work through your problems and can help you to gain insight and awareness and find ways of working towards being where it is you want to be.

Taking the first steps towards counselling can be very daunting.    If you are still unsure, please don't hesitate to contact me so that we can discuss what it is you would like to achieve through counselling.
